“Nu-Way Industries and Lasso Works partnered on a project with a large OEM customer in the Commercial Foodservice space. The project scope involved a very detailed reverse engineering effort, full DFM for cost savings, and turnkey integration solution for a product being built overseas. To complicate matters, it all needed to be done and into production in 13 weeks. 100+ manufactured parts and 100+ purchased components were required, many of which were sourced overseas and needed to find a domestic “home”. Lasso Works ran point on the project, creating the timelines and utilizing Nu-Way’s materials, engineering, quality, and operations teams to pull this all together and come in under budget and within the time constraints. This was a “first” with the OEM and the overall success of this project will lead to other similar opportunities going forward.
